Vlad's expression grew stern, though the crazed glint never left his eyes. Frankly, he was irritated, thanks to a combination of what had happened to his dinner, Tenele, the fairy, and now this human's impudence. "A man must eat, Great Leader. Or would you have preferred that I invite you?" he challenged darkly. "I don't recall Lady Sinead placing me under your good command. Such a decision seems unlikely, given your alarmist nature. I am under no curse, as you can see, and need no assistance from you or your night light over there." He pointed to Nickole disdainfully.

Talon's silver eyes almost glowed. "I should let you die," he growled. "I should. It would be better on me as it would everyone else, but I'm just to good of a person I guess."
Talon glared at Vlad. "You have a curse on you, you stupid fool. If your to arrogant and blind to admit it then you are not the great and powerful No Life King everyone’s told me about. Your nothing but a vampire trying to make himself sound invincible…”
Right about then a young silver haired maiden wondered into the inn holding a black and red tunic shirt in her hand. Talon spotted her before she spotted them. His eyes widened for a moment in surprise. It had been a long time since he saw his sister… and she looked somewhat different. Her hair was shorter… it didn’t go to her hips any more. She seemed awfully angry as well…

At Talon's burst of outrage, Vlad arched his head back and laughed. "Really, if I'd known this journey would be this amusing, I'd have kept a diary," he said lightly, revealing no reaction to Talon's comments. Noticing a sudden change in Talon's expression and the reintroduced smell of blood in the room, Vlad looked over his shoulder to see Tenele standing there in the doorway.
''You're a stubborn one, Maiden Girl," Vladimir commented in a semi-praising way, guessing what she had been doing since he and Nickole disappeared.

Tenele's head came up at hearing Vlad's familiar voice.
She looked at all the people in the room and then her eyes found her silver headed brother. She walked righ to him and before Talon could react her fist knocked him in the face.
"You just can't leave me alone can you," Tenele said feircly, glaring at him and holding Vlad's tunic out for Vlad to take.
Talon righted himself, but didn't raise a hand to his sister at all. "Tenele..."
"No Talon! Stay out of my life!"

Talon looked at his sister. “I’m not interfering with your life Tenele,” he said. “I’m just trying to save your friends life but he refuses to believe he’s cursed.”
Tenele shot Vlad a gaze. Was he lying to her when he told her nothing was wrong? She stared at Vlad for a moment, her green eyes searching. At the moment she didn’t notice the pain in her shoulder, because she just used her hurt arm to punch her brother. It was as if the adrenaline rush was blocking it from her, but now that Vlad was supposedly curse it let her calm a bit to notice it. She held it tightly.
“What’s wrong?” Talon asked.
“Nothing,” Tenele replied and looked back at him. “Your cursed?” she asked Vlad. One way or another he was going to have to except it.
"There is something wrong with your shoulder Tenele...." Talon said gently and all he recieved was a very cold glare. Tenele didn't notice that her squeezing was making her shoulder bleed.
Shinobu was a bit startled, as well as everyone else in the room who was staring at them.

Vlad's red eyes narrowed on Talon, truly angry now. Without Vlad's lifting a finger, the elf's body lifted from the ground, flew roughly back into the wall and was pinned there. Who had told them? Kyosuke? He had been the only one aware of the problem. And now Tenele was beginning to believe it as well. It was bad enough he hadn't figured out the extent of the situation yet himself.
"The worst affliction I suffer from is your insolence!" he snapped darkly, and let the elf fall back to his feet. "Let go of that, Maiden Girl," he said flatly to Tenele as the smell of blood grew stronger, without turning from Talon.

Tenele's eyes widned as Talon went flying through the room and she imediatly felt a pang of sympathy for her brother, but it faded away slightly.
"Vlad..." she said to him as Talon squirmed to try and get free.
"Let go of that, Maiden Girl," Vladimir said flatly.
"I would... if it would stop hurting," Tenele said testily.
Talon stood up straight. "The monk told me what they did to you Vlad, I know full and well your cursed. I also know how to cure it... But, maybe we shouldn't discuss this here..."

Vlad's patience seemed to visibly char as he stared at Talon for a long, dangerous moment. The innkeeper and the other patrons were staring at them nervously. "Perhaps not," he said dangerously, turning from both siblings and walking outside, where he escaped the overpowering smell of blood for a moment and pulled his tunic on.

Talon stared at Tenele for a very long moment. His eyes falling to her shoulder. She was still clutching it because she might have tore it more when she punched her brother.
"Yllia..." he said. He would have healed her himself, but she probably wouldn't allow it. "Please help my sister..."
Talon walked out behind Vlad. "Now will you accept the fact your cursed?" he asked as he came outside, closing the door behind him.

Talon looked at him and opened his mouth right away. Instead he closed it and thought for a moment. If I tell him he has to do something selfless then when he does it it won't be selfless... Talon thought and then looked up at Vlad. "You have to be completely good... and you have to defeat a great evil..." Talon said, trying to make him do something heroic with out telling him he had to do it selflessly... But, he wasn't going to do it selflessly.
Tenele... He would rescue Tenele... If they really are lovers... Well... Maybe... And so a plan formed in the alchemists mind.

Vlad's telepathic abilities alerted him immediately to the fact that Talon was fooling him, and the true recipe for the cure was offensive in its moral condescension. He was about to snap at the elf for hiding the truth, but the bogus explanation Talon inserted in its place was so amusing that he chose to listen instead, an interested smile gradually creeping across his face.
"Very well, Leader. If you say so, it must be necessary," he said darkly.

Talon looked at him. "You need to stay close to us..." Talon suggested. "Because, well trouble follows this group so there is bound to be a big evil come up sooner or later. Who knows its probably that Mage thats after Kaze..."
After a long pause Talon couldn't contain his curiousity any longer. He coughed once and looked at Vlad. "So... eh... how did Tenele get your... tunic shirt?" he asked slightly, as if he might not want to know the answer.

"Alright then, Shinobu-dono," Kyosuke replied. His thoughts were still revolving around the attempted assassination on Shinobu's life. He didn't know how to go around finding the woman.
Meanwhile, somewhere around town, the Shogun, Kitanai, Oda was wandering. He wondered how the barbarians could live as they did, in such an unclean place. He walked with the same grace that one would draw his sword with, and with the same manner he went around doing anything. This must have attracted the attention of many a bandit, for he had to scare many off. He hadn't needed to dirty his blade yet, however, and wondered how long it would be before he did.
