Lore: Start the fight!
Kelina walked through the forest sword on her back looking around. She had been looking for someone to either fight or travel with all day. She hadn't found anyone so far so she sat at the base of a tree. She wished she could climb one like her people could.
She strtched out under the tree and removed her sword and laid it across her lap. She fell into a light sleep flicking her foot around like a cat's tail. She began to make purring noises because of the tightness of her corset and the fact that she was happy at the moment.

Kastor was sitting on a branch high off the ground, resting his back against the tree's trunk and contemplating where to head next when he noticed a strangely clad girl heading towards him. He remained quiet, watching the girl while staying out of sight. He intended to let her pass and not be bothered further, but as chance would have it, she sat down and seemed to fall asleep at the base of a tree next to his.
He groaned inwardly, but decided that it wasn't worth the effort to relocate further away. He had been there first anyway, and if she hadn't noticed him before, perhaps she wouldn't when she woke up. He settled back against the tree trunk, arms crossed and hood pulled over his head, obscuring his face. Soon he was also drifting off to sleep.

Kelina opened her eyes and looked up at the sky, "Man, I'm hungry, I could go for some fish right now though!" Kelina's mouth watered as she thought of it.
She sniffed the air, she couldn't find a scent of a river anywhere. She turned around and around looking higher in the trees each time. She noticed something in a tree. She went over to the tree and batted at the object that was hanging down.

Kastor was rudely awaken to a strangling feeling around his throat. At first he didn't know what was going on...he couldn't see anything around him until he noticied the girl he saw earlier playing with his cloak. Kastor grunted and jumped down off the branch he was lying on, this was no way to wake up he thought to himself.
Landing softly on his feet, he eyed up the girl, examing every aspect of her. This girl was just like the rest of them, not one part of her appealed to him. Grunting softly he said to the girl "leave me be" and decided it was time to leave, time to begin the seach...again. He sighed, turned and began heading back to the path, thinking to himself "This path becomes lonely once again...perhaps she'll follow me..."

Looking over his shoulder Kastor saw the girl start following him, he smiled inwardly... finally someone that wasn't scared by his mood.
After Stopping for a moment to allow the girl to catch up he looked at the girl and introduced himself, "I'm lonely...i mean Kastor! Thanks for waking me up, care to join me?"

Unsure of what to do with the hand gesture, Kastor stared blankly at her. Suddenly it came to him, he rummaged through the inside of his cloak and pulled out a needle and placed it in the girls hand.
Kastor then took a step closer to the young girl and whispered in her ear "So what's your name young one?"

Shocked by what Kelina had done, Kastor ran to the fallen bird and held it in his hands. With a tear running down his cheek he growled at Kelina, "why?! why would you do such a thing?"
Slowly feeling the bird with his fingers he tried to revive the bird but he could feel it slipping away. Grabbing some needles from his leg he placed the needles in key spots on the birds body, just hoping to slow the inevitable. He wouldn't let this gentle beast go because of his mistake. Realizing there was only one thing he could do, Kastor began to summon his energy into his fingers...trying to fix the damage done by the needle.
After a short time, the bird flew out of Kastors hands. Just as the bird cleared the treetops Kastor collapsed onto the floor. The healing he had performed left him exhuasted, it was time to sleep again.

Kastor, unable to move looked up at Kelina and bared his teeth in a vicious growl. He knew what she was thinking! 'He's just another stupid human'. He hated being classified as a human, just because they look like him didn't mean that he was one of them. Seeing the confusion in her eyes, he remained quiet.
He was slowly fading into sleep, but managed to whisper with the last of his strength, "The something you call food, cried out for my help! MY needle hurt it!"

A few hours later, Kastor woke up. At first he wasn't sure what was going on then he realised what had just happened a few hours earlier. Kastor didn't see Kelina, so he began to look around, hoping he hadn't scared her off. Out of the corner of his eye he saw a mass lying at the base of the tree. Kastor collected himself, wrapped his cloak around himself and went and kneeled by her side.
Kastor noticied that Kelina was still unconcious for some reason, so he scooped her up and began walking down the path.

Kelina felt hrself being picked up. She saw in her dream a large mountain her mother was saying something and pointing. Kelina opened her eyes to see that she was being carried by Kastor. Kelina wiggled around a bit before jumping out of Kastor's arms. She rubbed the bruise on her head.
"What time is it." Kelina felt a bit dizzy.
