"Well... that makes sense now," he admitted sourly. "But, she's dangerous, you realize that. If you want to keep her alive you need to put her someplace she can't hurt herself or anyone else."

Stephan stiffly as the time passed. He wasn't sure of the amount of time that he lost sitting in the chair, only that the minutes drug along. His mind was haunted by thoughts he cared not to relive, of moments he had shared with a woman that he would never see again. It was too painful, and too hard for him to shut out.
He glanced to Celeste as she slept, watching her for moment before he stood and walked to the window. The snow was falling harder now, burying what had been uncovered that day. He reached up and drew down the veil that covered his face and the hood that hid away his red hair. He let out the breath he had been holding in a long even sigh.
