Hardly Serenity
"Stop!" Damien yelled in a demanding voice. The walls shook around them and the smiles on Trydent and Thorn's face quickly vanished as their attention turned to the loud voice.
With a blinding flash of light, Damien was at Mi's side holding her wrist which held the blade. "Don't do that," he said smiling at both of them. "I think we can all be friends here. Don't you, Eve?" his tone was very controlled and solemn.

Mi glanced at Damien and then at Eve. She said nothing, and Eve was the first to answer. "Oh, yes... Very good friends." Eve's hand wondered up the side of Mi's bare leg.
Mi's face flushed red with anger and the fire in her eyes danced like a single flame. "Bitch..." If Damien wouldn't let bring the knife to the woman's throat then Mi would bring her throat to the knife. She put her arm behind the woman's neck and pushed forward, pressing her delecate skin until it touched the hot blade.
The woman hissed and whimpered.
"Play with fire, Eve, you just might get burned..."
"If fire looks like you it can burn me any time it wants..."
Mi's mouth fell open. She had never heard that retort before. No matter how many times she had said it and no matter who she had said it too no one had ever said that.
"Thats it, Damien. I'll kill her..."
Thorn came up behind Mi and pulled her back away from the woman. "Hold your horses, Lady Mi... She's powerful and I'm sure Lord Damien could use her skills."
Mi fell silent as she jerked away from Thorn. Why did it seem as if all the sudden she was being alienated. "Fine... I'm sure all of you could find some... use... for her."

"I don't think she wants us," Damien remarked with a grin. He then turned to the newcomer. "My apologies, dear Eve. Mi does not take well to other females around her men." He shot a glance at Mi as he kissed Eve's hand softly.
The smell of death did not linger around Eve. She smelled as sweet as a fresh blossoming rose.

Mi scoffed and turned to walk a little ways away. She folded her arms, standing with one leg thrusted out. The folds of the fabric falling away to reveal her out-thrusted leg. The magic fire light casted a dim glow into the room, making every thing seem a darker contrast than it should be. The blood even looked black in some areas.
She decided to look around for a way out.
Eve smiled at Damien, brushing her hand down his face. "Well, we don't have to fight over you... we could share..." she said and gave a slutty wink.
Mi glanced over in there direction at that comment and arched an eyebrow. 'What a whore,' Mi thought. She knew she had thrown herself at men before. However, usually it was to get information, or get out of a situation... or because her father forced her too. But, this woman just seemed to want to do whatever she could get her hands on.

"Yes we should," Damien agreed. Thorn and Trydent rushed to Eve and introduced themselves. They tried to be cool and calm about the whole situation, but it had been a long time since they felt a woman's warmth.
Damien walked over to where Mi sat. "Don't worry, my dear," he said leaning down to her ear. "I would choose you over her any day." His sarcastic tone implemented his sly smirk.

Mi arched an elegant eye brow as she looked at him. "Oh..." she said, running a slender finger done his chest. Then she poked him hard. "And what makes you think that I still want you?" she asked cleverly. Though, her smile said otherwise.
She turned and walked away, swaying for a moment. Though, anyone looking would think it was because she was trying to seduce him. Really she just felt lightheaded as her fathers curse began taking its tole. It would be a slow process. However, she would hide it as best she could.
Eve smiled, "Mm... don't you boys look ripe for picking..."

Thorn's lips stretched from ear to ear, "You just don't know how ripe, my lady," he said as he bumped Trydent to the side. Trydent didn't fight him because he figured he'd get his chance with the woman. He followed Damien and Mi. Thorn offered an arm for Eve so he could walk with her.
Damien's smile grew slightly. He knew Mi still had something for him, though she was stronger willed than most women. "So you know your way out now?" he finally asked following her lead.

Mi glanced at him. "I have no earthly idea where I'm going. For all we know there is no way out of here and that thing purposely led us here in the hopes that we would be added to the collection of dead..." She brushed past a stack of rotting corpses, looking not a bit phased by how grotesque it looked.
"No he closed the wall up behind us... So we very well might be trapped down here..." She looked around and grimanced. "Oh well, at least there is plenty to eat."
She smirked and pushed a hanging body a side to get past it. "I found a path.... though it might dead end. Its small.... You men will have to go in sideways... Do you want me to check it out and see if it dead ends. Or do we want to send our new addition?"

Damien couldn't help but smile as the thought entered his mind. He knew Mi didn't like their new accomplice, so he suggested, "Maybe the two of you should go together?"
Thorn glared at Damien at the remark of taking Eve away from his side. Damien held the brutes gaze until he finally gave in. Thorn gruffed and grumbled under his breath.

Mi glared at Damien. "I think not!" she said and looked at Eve, clearly not hiding her dislike for the woman. "Unless you only want me coming out of that path, then I'm sorry, no."
Mi folded her arms, showing that she wouldn't budge from this notion. "Fine, I'll go..." she needed some quite time away from them anyway.
There was a cold draft coming from the path. Which meant that it possible had an opening at some point. Hopefully not another cavern of death. She moved forward, soon disappeaing into the darkness and hoping that the leaf girl would not follow.
Eve gave a wink to the men and back down the path, waving to them as she disappeared to in the darkness. Mi held her hand out and conjured a fire ball. It illuminated the dark hallway, however the darkness was so thick because of the black stone it only let you see a foot in front or behind you.

Damien looked around the room to find Trydent searching the dead bodies. He figured he was looking for money. As he came to Thorn, he found the large man pouting about Eve's departure.
"Quit being a little bitch," Damien yelled with a laugh.
"Yeah," Trydent remarked as he kicked over a pile of corpses.
"Ah," Thorn waved a hand at their remarks and wondered around the pool of dead.
"Who do you think did all this," Trydent asked from across the chamber. "Surely Eve couldn't have done this by herself."
"No," Damien answered though not as loud. "This was something mush more powerful." Trydent and Thorn looked at Damien as worry flooded their faces. "I won't let the big bad monster hurt y'all." his tone was sarcastic. "I promise." He didn't really care if they lived or died, but he knew he had to keep their morale boosted if they were to be of any use to him.
They sneered at the sarcastic remark and then went about their business. Damien took a seat on a rectangular shaped stone, that seemed to have fallen from the high ceiling.

Mi moved down the path. She felt the draft and it felt damp. Like mist. Great, water. She thought she heard foot steps behind her. She glanced over her shoulder, however didn't see anything.
"You know you are gorgous! I mean, I've never had my ass kicked by a girl before. Much less by a hot one..." Eve said as she ran up on Mi.
Mi arched an eyebrow. "I do hope this isn't you coming on to me, or anything. Sorry, honey, I just don't swing that way," Mi said.
"Oh? Come on? Maybe a little? It could be fun!"
"No..."
Mi came to a point where she could see a dim gray light. She heard a roaring sound every so often. The closer she got the louder the roar. Soon she came to a point where bars covered an opening. She could see into the next cavern and could see the rushing water.
Mi melted the bars away and stepped out onto a slippery dock. She glanced to her left. It was open.... she could see the ocean.... The moon reflecting on the water. To the right it was pitch black and she could not see the source of the rushing water.
"Looks like I found our exit... You wouldn't happen to have a boat under that skirt, would you?" Mi asked the woman as she moved past her to go back down the hall."
"Not a boat... A few daggers.... Your name is Mi?" Eve asked.
"You can call me Mistress if you want," Mi said, wondering if she could trick the dolt into worshiping her.

Damien sat and waited as long as he could. The place was really a bore. All the inhabitants were smelly mutes that just slept all the time. "Come on," he said to Thorn and Trydent. "I'm tired of waiting around on them women to get back. You know how they are when they get together. Gossip, gossip, gossip!! And then they lose track of time." He turned to his side and stepped into the dark hole in the wall. Trydent followed in easily, but Thorn had a little difficulty maneuvering through the narrow corridor.

Mi stopped at the sight of a light flicker out of the corner of her eye. It had been so dark, she hadn't noticed it when first coming down the corridore. She turned nad peaked through the bars on the wooden door. Nothing appeared to be in there, however it was dark on the inside.
"Move," Mi said as Eve tried to push past for a look. Mi stepped back with her back against the other side of the hall way. She kicked the door once as hard as she could. It moved, but didn't open. Then she kicked again. The door swung open, clanging against the wall. She looked in and saw nothing.
Before entering she through a fire ball into the room it landed on a straw covered floor and caught quickly. However didn't budge much because of the damp air.
The room seemed to be empty, however there was a strange feeling as if something was in there nevertheless. As if it were already watching her. "Alright, what magical power do you have?" she asked.
"How did ye know that I be in 'ere?" a male voice said.
"Well, so far today I have met a man that controls lightening, a man with great strenght, a ghost, and a woman with leaves coming out of her ass.... So what gifts do you possess?" Mi said, stepping into the room.
The brick on the far side of the room shifted and moved and formed the shape of a human... a short human. He looked old, but was so very short.... almost the size of a child, only sligtly taller. "I am a shape shifter.... as well as gifted in water magic..." Mi froze for a moment. She did not light water magic.... she didn't trust anyone with that power. She most definitely could not let him know her weakness. She caught sight of the silver half moon around his neck and noticed how it reflected light. That is how she knew he was in the room.

Damien heard a loud thud echo through the passage, and quickened his pace. Thorn struggled behind as Trydent stayed close on Damien's heels. The walls rumbled and shook and brought Damien to a sudden halt. He turned to and his hand blazed in white and orange flame.
"What the hell are you doing?" he asked Thorn.
"This damn hallway is to small and I'm just widening it out some." he responded driving a fist down each side of the wall, knocking out huge portions.
"You're gonna bring the entire place down on us, you blumbering idiot," Trydent yelled harshly.
