6) Power: Knows many spells and can use up to 10 per day. Specializes in fire magic mostly, from being able to start a campfire to immolation (Delarthil covers his entire body in a protective fire, causing weapons that try to hurt him to burn up immediately. It will only work for a few minutes, and is very tiring.) Delarthil does know other spells, mainly healing magic in case he or another is hurt and there's no cleric about.
7) Weaknesses: Is only partially skilled in melee combat or being stealthy.
Another weakness of his is he has massive aquaphobia, a paralyzing fear of water. He can stand lakes because they don't move, but streams and rivers will be problems for him.
He also has a tendency to tell the truth, no matter who he speaks to. It's not to be mean, but he can't resist speaking his mind to others, which can sometimes lead to nasty results.
8) Biography: Delarthil was born in a poor peasant home. His parents felt that they couldn't support him, so they sent him to a friend of theirs who taught magic. It was here, at the age of 19 that Delarthil learned of his inate ability in controlling magic, especially fire. This is what most magic users refer to as "being chosen by magic," meaning that magic is naturally flowing through him, though how he doesn't know. It's usually connected to a bloodline or an event that happened to an ancestor.
Embrose, the archmage who had taken him in, sought to teach him in the ways of magic, and found that his newest student caught on quickly. He has studied magic since then.
Now, he's a journeyman mage who wishes to put his skills in magic to the test.
9) Personality: Delarthil is kind and generous to just about anyone. His mind is open and willing to take in experience that the world has to offer.
