"You're right. Maybe I just dress like this for Halloween," Vlad grinned and looked at Kami more closely with his blood-red eyes. The unfamiliar man had an odd smell that was animal and human combined. "And who might you be?" The conversation took his mind partly of the nauseating sensation that still oozed through his body.

Kami grinned. "I was once a half elven ninja, then a horse who traveled with Kaze and you breifly, and now because of that preist who loves you so... I'm human again!" he explained. "I wont bother into the details.. that is reserved for Kaze." His eyes took a serious gaze as they wandered to the elf woman who could actually do nothing for Shinobu. 'I have affected her the most and will again.' he thought.
"I have no idea what happened... she was apparently stabbed." Kaze tried to explain but she didn't know the details either. SHe hugged herself, the dried blood on Shinobu suddenly making her queasy.

"We're working on it, Sir," the doctor said, looking up at the elf, whom he'd been too busy to notice. "Her wound is stopped and cleaned, but she will need to rest. It's not clear whether she has enough strength to survive, but if she can hang on for a few more hours, the holy water should do it's own work, as it did with Kyosuke. Speaking of whom, why are you out of bed?" he criticized the samurai.
At that moment, a tribe of three monks made their way to the scene. They looked aghast at the mess on the ground. "We did ill to bring their violent sort here," one whispered inaudibly to the others.
"Sir Talon," called one of the monks unhappily. "Could we speak with you alone, please?"
The doctor looked from Talon to the others. "It's ok. She should be fine for now. Go," he recommended, though he didn't see what was important enough for his brothers to call Talon away from the group.

When the monks and Talon were around the corner and out of earshot of the others, the monk who had called to him spoke freely.
"We're sorry to ask this of you when one of your comrades has just become injured, sir, but we have been asked to have your party depart the compound by dawn tomorrow morning, and to escort your vampire companion off the premises at once. We will provide rations and supplies to aid you to the next town, but the High Priest has been offended by several members of your party and wishes you to leave our tranquil monastery in peace." The monks looked apologetic, but determined.

"Amusing!" chuckled Vlad at Kami's response, his chin raised proudly with a barely-sane smile down at the half elf. "Sure, Priesty and I are great pals. We could share toothbrushes by now," he scoffed, one half of his attention on Kami and the other half eyeing the alley where Talon had disappeared to with the monks. He alraedy had a fair idea of what their message would be.

Talon grew very angry and he glared at them. "Some holy men...." he muttered and gritted his teeth. "There is a woman out there who might night survive the night and you want us to move her and leave by dawn tomorrow?!" He felt like calling them a bunch of fools. But, he figured he should leave the insults on a low. He didn't want to have to move Shinobu more than he would need to.
"If that woman dies because of your actions believe me you will have a very angry group to handle.... And the Queen..."

(OOC: Wow, I'm sorry I looked away from the screen.)
Kyosuke almost smiled at the vampire's quip. Instead he chose to turn to Shinobu and pour the holy water into her mouth. He turned to the doctor-monk. "Thanks, and I'm outta bed because I... sensed the danger that Shinobu-dono was in," he replied.
Hearing the news about how they were going to be kicked out in the morning, he narrowed his eyes at the monk who delivered the message. He didn't want to travel with Shinobu injured the way she was. He could really care less about himself traveling in a slightly weakened state, but he would worry about her. 'Don't kill the messanger,' he chanted mentally to himself. 'Nor the people that helped you then kicked you out...'

Kaze stepped back from all the comotion, Kami smirked at Vlad then walked away towards Kaze.
"Are you alright?" he asked her actually serious. Kaze looked at him then narrowed her eyes.
"I will once I get a straight explanation from you." she told him sternly. Kami gave her a mock offended look.
"Have I not explaned myself?" A firey look from Kaze made him stop. "Alright... but later." Kaze nodded stiffly and looked back to the others. She prayed Shinobu would live.

Ylia slowly approached Shinobu. She looked so small & weak. She had heard the conversation from the other room, and she knew that they needed to get going.
Ylia faced the priest standing near Shinobu. "I will need Talon shortly," she instructed. The priest just stood there. Standing tall, Ylia's height showed as her slight frame towered over the squatty priest.
She leveled her eyes at the priest... "If you please..." The priest was gone within seconds. No matter how fast he walked, Ylia knew she had time.
She bent over slowly until she could whisper words that only Shinobu could here. Pressing their foreheads together, Ylia placed her hands on each side of the girl's head and began the healing.
"Shinobu..."
When she had finished, her body trembled slightly and she eased to the floor as the world around her grew dark. She didn't even get to see Shinobu wake up...

Shinobu made a loud gasp as if life had flooded back into her. In a way it had, but still like Kyosuke, with the amount of blood lost she would need at least more than a day to recover to some amount of strength.
She flickered her eyes for a moment. Her hand going slowly to her half open garment and towards where the whole to her chest had been. It was healed and only the wet and dried blood around it remained. She coud feel how wet the floor was around her and her warm blood that had once been pooring from her chest.

Kyosuke let out a sigh of relief when Nickole came and healed Shinobu. Her face remained the same pallid color as before, the blood not having been restored to her, but he was glad that the hole had closed up. Silently, the samurai vowed to take revenge on the dark elf that had done this, once they found the Shogun, he would split off to find her.

The messenger eyed Talon with a combination of concern, guilt, and indignance. "I am sorry to have upset you, sir. We were not aware that your friend was wounded, much less the seriousness of her wound, at the time that this decision was made. I'm sure the high priest will reconsider allowing you to remain until you are all stable enough to travel - our intention is not to cause you harm. But, your vampire friend will really need to be asked to leave at once. He is a risk to our community." The other two monks nodded in grim confirmation.
Vlad watched Nickole work her art upon the injured woman blandly, inwardly going over the events at the temple and the actions remaining to him. He had a good idea of what the monks were talking to Talon about, but leaving peacefully was not among the potential courses of action scanning through his mind. Revenge and an explanation of what was happening to his body were far more attractive propositions.

Kaze let out a breath that she had not realized she was holding the moment she saw Shinobu gasp out, alive once more. Kami smiled at her and put a hand on her shoulder to reassure her.
"She was never in any danger..." Kami said as if he knew everything. Kaze began to learn to stop questioning him while the tension was high. She'd question him when everything was somewhat calm again and they were back on the road.
